Brute Force

As usual its been a long time since we last had an update. Ulduar is a joke it didn't really seem worth posting kills. We have killed everything up to Yogg we've attempted a few hard modes (we're up to 3 towers on Leviathan. Yey!) and we've done a fair bit of wiping on Yogg. Thats an interesting difficulty curve it has there

The Twins and Anub'Arak proved to be a brilliant end to an instance I was starting to feel quite worried about. ToC felt like filler in an anime written by somone who doesn't really care about the story emplyed to fill some time while the managa gets ahead again. However the twins and Anub'Arak really brought the instance to life twins have a great mechanic, stolen straight from Ikaruga of course but immitation is the sincerest form of flattery they say. Meanwhile Anub'Arak was a surprising twist to the end of the stand in arena wait to get owned formula of ToC. The frozen An'Quirage I never knew I wanted till I fell into it.

So its like more than a week since our last news update and things have moved on in Hordeland vs Ulduar (Timestamps mean nothing. Its written on the internet so it must be true etc.)

We've been back and tidied up our missng bosses everywhere and can proudly announce tiers 1 and 2 are complete and we are working on Tier 3. Hodir might already be dead but this is the internet and no one has written that yet. So without further nonsense from me there will be killshots and loot. A highlight of this tier was Auriaya who was quite brilliant a truly make or break pull followed by some mechanics that really challenged our healers for once..... we killed it and the next day they nerfed it into oblivion. R.I.P. Crazy cat lady.

We've been in Uduar 25man with good raiding turnouts since the release of 3.1. We've made steady progress killing on average 3 new bosses per reset all be it a bit out of order in the strictest sense. Overall we're very pleased with Ulduar any new content would have been well received given how bored we all were with Naxx but blizzard have really given us something rather special with Ulduar. If they'd just stop nerfing it before we learn it it could be brilliant.
